Lynch launches fashion foray

NOT content with being a boyband star, TV personality, born-again Christian and racing car driver, Shane Lynch is now taking on the world of fashion.

And it’s not bad boy streetwear that he’s fronting, but a more demure 75-piece collection of virgin wool, cashmere and silk separates.

There’s a soft wool blazer that channels understated sophistication, while his turn-up wool check trousers will only be worn by men who take their fashion seriously.

But it’s his purple/pink Italian-style chinos that are probably the most rock ‘n’ roll — screaming unfettered self confidence.

Shane himself describes his collection as an “uncompromisingly stylish collaboration”.

“Since we did the photography, I’ve been regularly wearing a number of the samples, which have all met with a great response.

“They’re smart clothes that I’m very happy be seen anywhere in.”

Lynch’s first foray into the trade is with the Manchester-based 1952 brand. His clothes will be on sale at “premium retailers and high end stores” and should also be on sale online.

It can also be viewed at 1952’s Northern Quarter shop in Manchester.
