Kerry father killed travelling to new job

A FATHER of three young children was killed early yesterday when his car hit a wall as he was on his way to train in Killorglin for a new job.

The crash occurred at 6.20am just over a mile from the main entrance to Kerry Airport, at Farranfore.

The man has been identified as James O’Sullivan, 31, a native of Tullig, Castleisland. He had worked as a barman in the town’s River Island Hotel but recently secured a management job with Aldi.

Mr O’Sullivan and his fiancee, Margaret Delee, have three sons, Damian, Logan and Isak who range in age from 13 to six months.

The single-vehicle crash occurred at Laharn, Farranfore.

Mr O’Sullivan was the only occupant in the car.
