Drug seizure

GARDAÍ have seized cannabis plants and herbal cannabis with a total estimated street value of about €200,000.

Members of the Garda National Drugs Unit raided a rural dwelling in Ballyboughal, north Co Dublin.

A growhouse was discovered with about 350 plants at different stages of maturation, along with 4kg of herbal cannabis. Two men aged 27 and 32 were arrested and were last night being detained at Ballymun Garda Station.
