Trawlers freed

TWO Spanish fishing trawlers boarded on Thursday night by the Naval Service ship LE Niamh 50km south of Castletownbere, Co Cork on suspicion of illegal fishing were released last night without charge.

Gardaí at Castletownbere said last night that no charges would be brought.
