Town hit by 2 raids in one day

GARDAÍ have arrested two men as part of their investigation into robberies at a car dealership and Cash for Gold shop in a north Cork town.

The arrests were made after gardaí were alerted to a robbery at Kearys Toyota car dealership on the Limerick Road in Mallow.

At approximately 10.30am yesterday two men, one in his late teens and the other in his early 20s, broke into the staff quarters at the dealership and stole purses and mobile phones.
