A TROUBLED water company at the heart of a long-running investigation could be scrapped, the North’s regional development minister warned yesterday.

At an evidence session in Stormont yesterday, Conor Murphy defended his decision to sack four members of Northen Ireland Waters.

An investigation found that £28.5 million (€34.4m) €in contracts were issued without being properly tendered.
