College study sets out to understand how broken hearts affect young lives

IT’S only been a few weeks since love was celebrated with the annual lovefest that is St Valentine’s Day.

But for those less lucky in romance, a new study by the University of Limerick aims to heal broken hearts – or at the very least understand them.

Already 150 people who have split up from those they were once smitten with have signed up to share their experiences.
