Garda survey: 93% in support of action

Garda survey: 93% in support of action

The results of the Garda Representative Association (GRA) questionnaire show of the 5,540 replies received, 93% backed some form of industrial action short of a withdrawal of service. Almost one-in-five backed strike action, even though such a move is illegal.

GRA general secretary PJ Stone said the result shows the anger among gardaí who have suffered five pay cuts in the last year.
