Raid on ex-bank manager home

A COMPUTER and a number of files have been seized by members of the Criminal Assets Bureau following a raid on a house belonging to a former bank manager in the Limerick area.

Gardaí have confirmed that the raid on the house took place over the Christmas period and that it was followed last Wednesday by Criminal Assets Bureau officers visiting a property firm in the city.

Investigations at the property firm followed a complaint lodged with the gardaí and the Revenue Commissioners.
