POLICE in Europe are tracking up to 40 Irish gangsters heavily involved in organised crime.

These are organised crime gangs involved in serious crime, such as drug importation and firearms trafficking.

They are led by major Irish crime bosses, such as George Mitchell in the Netherlands, Peter Mitchell in Spain and Christy Kinihan, who operates in both countries.
