Neeson returns to red carpet
Publicists at the New York City screening of Neeson’s new film Five Minutes of Heaven told the press all personal questions were strictly off-limits.
The Oscar-nominated actor and father of two children with Richardson was asked what his version of heaven would be.
The 57-year-old said it was being with his boys and he was “kind of living it at the moment”.
Richardson died in March after falling during a skiing lesson and suffering a head injury. She was 45.
The film, which also stars James Nesbitt, is a fictionalised version of real events.
It tells the story of 17-year-old UVF member Alistair Little who murdered a 19-year-old Catholic, Jim Griffin, in Lurgan in 1975. The murder was witnessed by Griffin’s 11-year-old brother Joe, played as an adult by Nesbitt, while the role of Little, 30 years on, is played by Neeson.
