Mail order firm follows Waterford group into receivership

Up to 50 jobs hang in the balance in cork following the collapse of Waterford Wedgwood.

Mail order firm Cashs was purchased by Waterford Wedgwood in 2002 and yesterday went into receivership along with its parent firm. The company employs 50 people in their warehousing and call centre operation in Togher.

Waterford Wedgwood purchased the business from fairway investments limited for €22.04 million.
