Ireland 4th most expensive place in world to shop

IRELAND has been labelled the fourth most expensive place to shop in the world and has the dubious honour of being the nation that boasts the most expensive condoms.

Ireland is also among the most expensive for items such as cameras, coffee, cigarettes and burgers.

The survey by comparison website pricerunner.co.uk looked at the price of a range of goods, from a litre of milk and a McDonald’s Big Mac to computer consoles, laptops and LCD televisions, in 24 countries. In Ireland, the report’s authors focused on Dublin.
