SCIENTISTS are analysing the potential for life-saving cancer-screening techniques after four-year-old identical twins helped uncover the development of rogue cells that cause leukaemia.

British scientists found the pre-cancer cells which showed up in both Olivia and Isabella Murphy from Kent, in Britain.

Only Olivia went on to develop leukaemia because of an infection which aggravated the cells.
