Teacher in child porn probe

HEALTH authorities are understood to have informed a school principal that one of her teachers is being investigated by gardaí on suspicion of possessing child pornography.

Senior gardaí contacted the Health Service Executive (HSE) this week to tell them that a teacher in north Dublin was subject to a child pornography investigation.

The HSE is thought to have informed the school principal of the matter this week. It is not known if the teacher has been suspended from duty or has taken sick leave.
