Charity is an uphill struggle

THREE intrepid Kerry women have climbed the four highest peaks in Ireland, England, Scotland and Wales, all for a good cause.

The new €3.8 million palliative care unit at Kerry General Hospital, in Tralee, will benefit from their efforts.

Marie Gallagher, Currow; Sile Kerley, Castleisland, and Marguerite Lyons, Ballymacelligott, scaled the mountains as part of the Red Dress Challenge.
