THREE intrepid Kerry women have climbed the four highest peaks in Ireland, England, Scotland and Wales, all for a good cause.

AN exuberant Kerry woman who appeared at the summit of freezing Ben Nevis, last week, in a figure-hugging sequin dress and stilettos, plans to repeat the performance on three other mountains.

A world record bid by five climbers hoping to scale five Irish and British peaks in less than 24 hours has been put on hold because of adverse weather conditions.
