Campaign will help Irish tackle climate change

THE Government is to embark on a concerted campaign to make people aware of the causes and effects of climate change.

Environment Minister John Gormley launched the tender process for the campaign, which is expected to begin in November.

It will run for an initial two-year period and may be extended for a further five years.
