Shoppers warned of burger content

SHOPPERS were yesterday warned to beware of producers claims that packets of burgers and sausages contain ‘100% Irish beef’.

British consumer association Which? said the claim could mislead shoppers into thinking the products solely contained meat.

The claim was made on meat products on sale in Britain, where shoppers also discovered packages boasting “100% British beef” in products.
