Snap poll: Bertie is top of the pops

BERTIE Ahern yesterday bagged the accolade of the politician who had done the best job in the 29th Dáil, according to an IrishJobs.ie survey.

The news was not quite as good for Tánaiste Michael McDowell, who was voted the second-worst politician.

The snap poll by the employment company showed 20% of respondents giving Mr McDowell a thumbs down. Health Minister Mary Harney got 26% of the votes for doing a bad job.
