TEENAGERS have identified serious shortcomings in both the quality and amount of sex education they are getting at school.

They have also called for the appointment of specialist staff to deliver mandatory sex education in schools from sixth class onwards.

The move follows the Supreme Court judgement on statutory rape last May which saw several convicted sex offenders released from prison and unleashed a public storm.
