TEENAGERS who are openly gay may be facing problems of bias and discrimination at school, it was claimed yesterday.

A girl whose relationship with a female student came to the attention of a teacher was threatened with expulsion, according to a concerned parent.

She told RTÉ Radio One’s Ryan Tubridy Show that a case was being brought in relation to the matter but that it should not have come to this.
