Affordable housing ‘out of reach’ of more and more families

MORE and more families are unable to pay for affordable housing, according to a member of Cork County Council.

And it has been predicted that even more families are likely to find themselves falling through the net next year as house prices soar.

Cllr John Gilroy analysed affordable housing criteria after receiving a number of complaints from people who weren’t able to get on the scheme.
