THE country’s two million motorists will be tracked on speed cameras at least five times a year under new measures to cut the grim toll of death in the roads.

Random breath-tests and on-the-spot fines for drink-drivers, longer bans for rogue motorists, a curb on the length of time drivers can hold provisional licences as well as an extra 800 speed cameras are set to come into force in autumn.
