Labour and Fine Gael to table motion for early election

THE Government has “lost initiative and coherence and descended into aimless drift”, the Dáil will hear today.

Labour and Fine Gael will table a joint motion criticising the Government’s record and calling for an early general election.

The motion, which will be debated today and tomorrow, lists 13 areas in which the two parties allege the Government has failed to deliver, including crime, health and education.
