Vested interests: Bush displays his presidential briefs

IF Brian Boru himself had appeared in person, the assembled gawkers surrounding Dromoland Castle could hardly have been more surprised.

Onlookers with binoculars and TV watchers got more than they bargained for last night when President Bush appeared at the window of the castle in what appeared to be his underwear.

The President, looking relaxed and at home, appeared briefly at the window of his Dromoland suite in a white vest. He stood alone, sipping a bottle of water before Secret Service personnel ushered him back inside the room.
