HSE urged to explain €2m payout to company

FINE GAEL leader Enda Kenny yesterday called on the Health Services Executive to “come clean” on the €2 million it paid to a recruitment firm he says is a shelf company.

Mr Kenny said that the HSE’s insistence that Blackmore Group Assets Ltd is a UK-based recruitment company was “grossly misleading or dishonest, and completely at odds with the facts”.

The party yesterday produced headed notepaper from Blackmore which gave its address as the headquarters of a company which forms trusts in Guernsey in the Channel Islands.
