GPO services face disruption in staffing row

SERVICES at Cork’s main post office could be affected following the escalation last night of a long-running row over staffing.

Counter staff were due to hold a crisis meeting this morning to discuss the situation.

Their union, the Cork Clerks’ Union (CCU) which is part of the Communication Worker’s Union, said counter closures were being considered.
