A MAN inspired by his late brother to raise funds for a cancer group has completed his 900-mile paddle along the country’s coastline.

Yesterday, Welshman Simon Osborne paddled up the Liffey. For nearly seven weeks he has been kayaking along Ireland’s coastline to raise money for charity.

“Unfortunately, I lost my brother Mark to leukaemia 15 years ago and I made a promise to him to raise money for leukaemia research,” said the 25-year-old from Abererystwyth.
