Hopes fade in search for missing woman

HOPES were fading last night for a woman who disappeared from a caravan park party more than a week ago.

Despite desperate pleas by her family for Lisa Dorrian to come home, there has been no trace of her since she left the party in Ballyhalbert, Co Down. Police returned to the seaside village yesterday to hand out leaflets and quiz drivers in a bid to jog people’s memory.

At the weekend, police divers joined air and land searches for the 25-year-old shop assistant from the nearby town of Bangor.
