AN Bord Pleanála is to hold two oral hearings next week on major projects which are planned for Co Cork.

Objections have been made to the 16km-long, €170 million Fermoy to Mitchelstown bypass proposed to be built between Moorepark, near Fermoy, and Kilbehenny.

Last September Cork County Council issued 83 Compulsory Purchase Orders for approximately 500 acres it needs to build the dual carriageway.
