Orangemen to march in Cork

A MAJOR row has broken out over plans to allow the Orange Order march in this year’s St Patrick’s Day parade in Cork.

Sinn Féin reacted angrily last night to news that the organisers had already sent an invitation to the Orange Order in Belfast to participate in the March 17 event.

The organisers of the parade confirmed yesterday that an invitation had been sent to the order as part of cross-Border initiative between the two cities.
