Passengers miss flights as Dublin Airport suffers security delays

AT least 50 people missed their flights from Dublin Airport at the weekend when long queues developed at security checks.

Dublin Airport Authority spokesperson Siobhan Molloy said it was “unfortunate” that some people experienced excessive security check delays when the airport became particularly busy on Saturday morning.

She stressed that the airport authority had taken steps to ensure that such delays did not happen again.
