The popular Irish soap has never been afraid to tackle serious issues head-on but executive producer Niall Matthews says viewers are still offended by bad language.

“We sit down and we look at the language and we look at the things that don’t work and, invariably, cursing doesn’t work,” he said yesterday as he joined the cast and crew for a 15th birthday celebration in McCoy’s on the Fair City set.
