125 new jobs boost for Wexford

A TOTAL of 125 jobs are to be created in Wexford with the expansion of a plant which produces scientific instruments.

Enterprise Minister Micheál Martin announced that US-based Waters Corporation is investing €11.5 million and almost doubling the workforce at its Wexford town facility.

The company, which currently employ 150 people in Wexford is the world’s largest supplier of high performance liquid chromatography (HPLC) analytical instruments, which scientists use to analyse chemicals and other materials.
