Rural development conference set for Galway

IRISH Rural Link, the national lobby group for Irish rural development, is bringing its Annual Conference to the Shannon Oaks Hotel in Portumna, Co Galway on May 6 and 7.

The title of this year's conference is 'People and the Community The Forgotten Rural Agenda' which is in direct response to the image of rural Ireland being portrayed as a burden on the rest of Ireland.
