Four men guilty of ‘horrific’ murder
The men, Adrian Thomas, 20, Jamaile Morally, 22, his brother Joshua Morally, 23, and Llewellyn Adams, 24, all from south London, were convicted by a jury after a two-month trial at Reading Crown Court.
The jury has yet to reach a verdict on a charge of murder against a fifth man, Indrit Krasniqi, 18.
A sixth man, 19-year-old Michael Johnson, pleaded guilty to murdering Mary-Ann earlier in the trial.
Mary-Ann, whose father is from Mayo, and her 18-year-old friend were abducted in central Reading last May.
In a drugs-related revenge attack, the girls were tortured and raped at a nearby guest house before being driven to a park to be killed.
Mary-Ann died from repeated stab wounds.
Her friend, who cannot be named for legal reasons, survived being shot in the head and left for dead.
She was knocked unconscious by a bullet, which shattered on impact. She awoke a short time later, going on to testify fearlessly against her attackers as the prosecution's chief witness.
On leaving the court, one of Mary-Ann's family members, who asked not to be named, said of the jury's verdicts: "Brilliant."
She added: "I'm very much relieved. Mary-Ann's mother is very distressed like we all are but at the same time relieved at the end of a long and traumatic trial. I am hoping they get life on Monday, and by that I mean life."
The six men stood silently in the dock as the jury foreman gave responses to a total of 42 charges.
Only Krasniqi showed any emotion dropping his head into his hands as he was convicted of charges of kidnap and assault.
The judge, Mr Justice Penry-Davey sent the jury home for the weekend and asked them to return on Monday to continue their deliberations on Krasniqi.
As the men were led away from the dock, all walked in silence except Jamaile Morally who threw his hands in the air and shouted: "Yoh, yeah, yeah", punching the wall of the dock as he was led away.
