LRC steps in as hospital row erupts

One hundred and seventy nurses in St Luke’s Hospital in Clonmel, Co Tipperary, reported for duty yesterday but were only providing emergency patient care.

The nurses, who are members of the Psychiatric Nurses Association (PNA), claim the Health Service Executive (HSE) South East regional management failed to investigate a range of complaints made against a senior nurse manager.
