THE Morris Tribunal was adjourned abruptly yesterday after angry exchanges between Mr Justice Frederick Morris and publican Frank McBrearty Jnr.

The inquiry into garda corruption rose 10 minutes early because Mr McBrearty Jnr clashed with the judge during a heated cross examination of witness, Superintendent Joe Shelly.

Mr Justice Morris appealed to Mr McBrearty several times to “control yourself” and even implored his mother, Rosalind, to restrain her son.
