Cullinane ‘mystified’ at agent’s detention

SINN FÉIN European election candidate David Cullinane said last night that he did not know why his campaign manager Tommy Hanlon was arrested in the investigation into IRA money laundering.

The Waterford City Councillor said he had no idea why Mr Hanlon, a former Sinn Féin Passage West town councillor, was arrested three days ago.

As he did not want to prejudice the case of Mr Hanlon, Mr Cullinane said he did not want to comment upon the arrest.
