Renault Zoe: A great car for A to B, but to Z?
Within a few hundred metres of driving the Renault Zoe, my initial fears were assuaged: This is not a glorified golf cart. Once I adapted to driving an automatic, the car handled smoothly and had excellent acceleration.
The car has an impressive on-board computer, with a satnav that will direct you to your nearest charge point if you need to top-up the battery. An eco-mode is activated as default when the car is driving, limiting aspects of performance to preserve battery.
