Young people out of work and the long-term unemployed risk being left behind in any recovery in the economy, a review of the Government’s action plan on jobs has warned.

Almost 1,600 long-term unemployed have been taken off the Live Register in the last eight months by employers who signed up to the Government’s JobsPlus employment scheme.
