Of the 118 charities who responded, 50% reported a rise in demand for their services during the coronavirus pandemic. 

The Wheel, the national association of charities, has called on the Government to set aside €445m in the budget to protect the core services provided by charities, volunteer organisations, and social enterprises.

Completeing an activity or challenge has also been a big focus for young people.
