John Young won the JJ Murphy Cup at Bauravilla following a brilliant contest with Jimmy O’Driscoll.

James O’Donovan is the first name on the Willie Whelton Cup after a sensational performance saw him beat All-Ireland champion Thomas Mackle by three bowls of odds at Grange.

John Shorten beat Wayne Callanan by almost a bowl in the Billy Molloy Cup at Whitechurch. 

Aidan Murphy completed the lineup for the Munster senior championship semi-finals when he beat Gary Daly by close to two bowls of odds in torrential rain at Carrigaline on Saturday.
