A LANDMARK prosecution which sees hotel barmen charged with manslaughter arising out of the death of a guest who died from acute alcohol intoxication was adjourned to May 3 at Nenagh Circuit Court.

A 23-year-old Co Tipperary man has been sentenced to two years in prison at Nenagh Circuit Court for an assault on former Kilkenny hurler PJ Delaney, which left him in hospital with serious injuries.
