QUICK thinking by the parents of a woman targeted in a tiger kidnapping in Co Galway resulted in gardaí foiling the raiders, it emerged yesterday.

A quick-thinking mother helped foil a violent kidnap plot as a traumatised businessman and his family were held hostage at gunpoint during a raid at their rural home.
