FOUR people died in road accidents over the weekend — two of them motorcyclists.

One of the victims was a man killed yesterday while riding a motorbike on the main Limerick to Tipperary road.

Alan Murphy, 29, from the Old Cork Road in Limerick, died instantly after his motorbike was in a collision with a jeep that was pulling a horse-box. The collision occurred at around 1.30pm at Cloghnadromin, Ballysimon.
