QUICK thinking by the parents of a woman targeted in a tiger kidnapping in Co Galway resulted in gardaí foiling the raiders, it emerged yesterday.

Emma Flynn was on the phone to her mother Colette when five masked and armed men burst into her home in Lackagh at about 8.45pm on Sunday.

They tied up Ms Flynn, her husband Julien and three of their four children, aged between six months and seven years, and demanded cash.
