A garda officer is being questioned by detectives today in relation to a €250,000 drugs haul in Drogheda yesterday.

Gardaí have seized €1m worth of drugs in Co Louth. The haul was uncovered when an apartment in Dyer Street in the centre of Drogheda was raided.

Gardaí in Drogheda arrested two men yesterday evening after a post office van was stolen in the town.
