A man has been remanded in custody in connection with an €810,000 drug seizure yesterday on the M1 motorway.

A 39-YR-OLD man was arrested and charged after gardaí seized cannabis with a combined street value of €810,000.

The Eazy Pass payment scheme has been introduced at the toll plaza on the M1 motorway near Drogheda in Co Louth earlier than originally planned.
